Gateway to host Community Gathering On Food Insecurity in Cumberland County

  Gateway Community Action Partnership will host a Community Gathering on Food Insecurity in Cumberland County on Tuesday, October 24 at noon at the agency’s River’s Edge Community Campus, 110 Cohansey St., Bridgeton.

  The event is free and open to the public.

  State Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney will join Gateway President & CEO Albert B. Kelly, CCAP, to address the critical need to address issues of food insecurity and its devastating effects on children and families in the county.

  Tours of Gateway’s Healthy Food Express and Library will be conducted following Sweeney and Kelly’s comments on food insecurity and plans to address the issue.

  In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Marino Center, 11 Washington St., which is adjacent to the agency’s administrative offices at 110 Cohansey St., Bridgeton.
