Gateway CAP to host Call to Action event in Cumberland County on May 1

Gateway Community Action Partnership is hosting a Community Needs Assessment Call to Action forum in the Lucian Conference Center on the Cumberland County College Campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 1.

Gateway wants your voice to be heard in terms of community needs, partnerships, goals and strategies and what is working, what needs improving and what barriers exist as they relate to poverty in our region.

Topics of discussion include, but may not be limited to: affordable housing, health care, employment, food security, transportation and education.

The event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required on or before April 24. Breakfast and lunch will be served. County residents, program participants, program clients, members of the social services, human services, education, law enforcement, faith based, community based, healthcare communities as well as state and local officials are urged to attend.

For additional information or to register, contact Denise Todd at 856-451-6330 or at dtodd@gatewaycap.org.
