Gateway Community Action Partnership’s Hamilton 1 Head Start Center and Little Cherubs Center will hold a multi-cultural parade on Friday, May 20 at 9:30 a.m. The rain date is Monday May 23.

  The parade will consist of children carrying flags from 24 different countries. It will start at the John O. Wilson Neighborhood center, home of Hamilton 1 Head Start, 169 Wilfred Ave., and will follow Parkinson Avenue to Mary Street to Wilfred Avenue and back to the Head Start Center playground. Children from Little Cherubs Early Learning Center will also take part in the parade.

  At the playground, there will have many activities for Hamilton 1 center children, including face painting, bubble throwing, Hula-Hoop, dancing, arts and crafts, playing soccer with male role models, planting, music and much more.
