Gateway Community Action Partnership will host a community forum for City of Bridgeton residents to discuss issues and needs of area youth. The event is sponsored by Cumberland County Positive Youth Development Coalition (CCYDC).

  The event is on Thursday, August 27 and runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Marino Center, 11 Washington St., Bridgeton. The community forum is free and open to the public. Participants are asked to ask, observe and engage. Lunch will be provided and $25 gift certificates will be given to eligible participants.

  Topics of discussion include: Entering school ready to learn, Reading at grade level by the 3^rd Grade, Graduating from high school ready for college/career, Completing Postsecondary education/training, Successfully entering the workforce and Reducing violence/providing a secondary chance.
