Gateway Community Action Partnership’s Holly City Family Success Center, 21 E. Main St., Rear Suite, Millville, is seeking donations to assist with its “Cinderella 2015: Why I deserve to be Belle of the Ball” prom gown give-away.

The Family Success Center is seeking additional donations of salon gift certificates for Millville girls attending the Millville Senior High School prom to get their hair, makeup and nails done, accessories such as purses, shoes and jewelry as well as donations of gift certificates for tuxedos, haircuts and accessories for Millville boys attending the Millville prom.

The Holly City Family Success Center received 45 new prom gowns and wants to make them available to young women attending the Millville Senior High School prom through a free essay contest: “Cinderella 2015: Why I should be Belle of the Ball.”

Entrants should submit a short essay addressing why they should be given a new prom gown. Contestants should include their name, address, phone number, e-mail and gown size by the March 20 deadline.

Gowns will be distributed to the 45 Cinderella winners at the Holly City Family Success Center’s Annual Spring Fling on April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Waltman Park. The Success Center is also seeking food and refreshment donations for the Spring Fling event featuring the prom gown distribution.
