Gateway offering a Jump Start

Gateway Community Action Partnership’s Jump Start program will conduct valuable life skill sessions in Bridgeton, Millville and Salem in March.

The Jump Start program will help individuals become self-sufficient by providing license restoration services, financial literacy, budgeting, life skills, interviewing tips, job search tips as well as provide weekly support group sessions.

The program will also link individuals to Gateway’s Literacy Volunteers program, a tutor-focused, adult literacy program, as well as provide referrals for health literacy information. Jump Start services are free and open to the public and will assist individuals looking to jump start their lives and create a positive path to success.

Pre-registration for Jump Start sessions is required. A March 4 session (5 p.m.) will be held at the Holly City Family Success Center, 21 E. Main St., Rear Suite, Millville. A 3 p.m. session will be held on March 10 at the Salem Family Success Center, 14 New Market St., Salem. A session is set for the Bridgeton Family Success Center, 155 Spruce St., Bridgeton, on March 23 with the time to be determined.

For additional information on the Jump Start program and the pre-registration process, contact Michelle C. White (856-451-6330 ext. 6670) or at mcwhite@gatewaycap.org.
