  All treats, no tricks.

That sums up the Greater Bridgeton Area Transit program’s second anniversary celebration event scheduled for Friday, October 31.

The event may fall on Halloween, but there are no tricks, just treats for those attending.

The event will be held in the Bridgeton Culinary Park (corner of Commerce and Laurel streets) from 4 to 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The event will feature pizza, prizes and entertainment, light refreshments and Halloween candy.

In addition to the October 31 event, the Greater Bridgeton Area Transit program will mark its second-year anniversary with a prize drawing. From November 1 through December 20, all bus riders who contribute the suggested $1 fare will receive an entry into the drawing to be held December 22. Prizes include a 60-inch HDTV, a new computer and a dinner for two.

GBAT is a collaborative partnership with Pascale Sykes Foundation, the City of Bridgeton, Cumberland County Department of Employment & Training, Glen Park Apartments, the Cumberland County Guidance Center and Gateway Community Action Partnership.
