Gateway WIC to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week

  Gateway Community Action Partnership’s Women, Infants & Children (WIC) program will celebrate World Breastfeeding Week Community Celebration on Saturday, August 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Vineland U-Sell Flea Market on the corner of NJ Route 47 (Delsea Drive) and Sherman Avenue, Vineland.

  Inspira Health Network as well as other community hosts will also participate. The event will feature free refreshments and prizes, entertainment and information for the community.

  Gateway Community Action Partnership is the federally-designated Community Action Program (CAP) for Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties in southern New Jersey. The agency's mission is to provide services that improve the quality of life and promote self-sufficiency. 

  Gateway administers the federally-funded WIC Program in Cumberland, Salem, Cape May and Camden counties. The WIC Program is hosting a Community Celebration for World Breastfeeding Week.

  Albert B. Kelly, President & CEO of Gateway CAP and Mayor of Bridgeton, will sign a World Breastfeeding Week Proclamation to call attention to support breastfeeding mothers in the community.
