REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

   Gateway Community Action Partnership, the federally recognized Community Action Agency for Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties, has issued a request for qualifications for General Maintenance and Repair Services. At present, Gateway CAP offers more than 50 programs throughout seven counties in southern New Jersey, having served more than 53,000 clients in the past year.  This RFQ is presented with the intention of fulfilling all general maintenance, repair, and minor construction work necessary to the agency. Normal hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; however, the contractor awarded will need to be available as needed outside of normal operation hours.

          Gateway CAP operates 54 centers in eight counties throughout Southern NJ and Philadelphia. For the purposes of this proposal, the centers will be broken down into service areas, Zones North, West, & East. Zone-North consists of sites in Germantown-Lehigh Philadelphia, Mercer County, and Camden County. Zone-West consists of sites in Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland Counties. Zone-East consists of sites in Atlantic & Cape May Counties. Respondents may bid based on zone. If bidding on multiple zones, please specify any price disparities between zones.

   The deadline for submission of proposals is 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014. Submittals should be addressed and delivered to: Edward Bethea, Sr. VP/COO, Gateway Community Action Partnership, 110 Cohansey St. Bridgeton, NJ 08302.  All questions, requests for interpretation, and comments shall be prepared in writing and submitted to Edward Bethea (ebethea@gatewaycap.org) and Nakia Ames (names@gatewaycap.org) via email by April 29, 2014
