Gateway plans college tour 2014

 

 

 

  Gateway Community Action Partnership will host an eight-college tour from April 21-27 that is open to all area school students.

 

  The College Tour 2014 includes the following schools: Rutgers University (New Brunswick), Ohio State University (Columbus, Ohio), Central State University (Wilberforce, Ohio), Wilberforce University (Wilberforce, Ohio), Fisk University (Nashville, Tennessee), Jackson State University (Jackson, Mississippi), Dillard University (New Orleans, Louisiana) and also includes a stop in Montgomery, Alabama for a tour of the city’s historic sites.

 

   Cost is $275 per person and includes transportation, hotel and daily breakfast. The first payment of $137.50 is due February 28, the final payment of $137.50 is due March 31.

 

   The College Tour 2014 focus is preparing students for a positive future and to help them set a course for higher education and have fun doing it. The tour is sponsored by Gateway’s Family Success Centers in Bridgeton, Millville and Salem.
