Greater Bridgeton Area Transit plans anniversary celebration

Greater Bridgeton Area Transit plans anniversary celebration

  All treats, no tricks.

That sums up the Greater Bridgeton Area Transit program’s one year anniversary celebration event scheduled for Thursday, October 31.

The event may fall on Halloween, but there are no tricks, just treats for those attending.

The event will be held in the Bridgeton Culinary District Park (corner of Commerce and Laurel streets) from 4 to 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

The event will feature prizes and entertainment, light refreshments and Halloween candy.

In addition to the October 31 event, the Greater Bridgeton Area Transit program will mark its one-year anniversary with daily prize drawings for riders from November 4-8. All riders are eligible to win with the grand prize of a 32-inch HDTV being awarded on November 8. Prize drawing tickets are available on the bus.

For additional information on the Greater Bridgeton Area Transit (GBAT), call 856-451-8920.

GBAT is a collaborative partnership with Pascale Sykes Foundation, the City of Bridgeton, Cumberland County Department of Employment & Training, Glen Park Apartments, the Cumberland County Guidance Center and Gateway Community Action Partnership.
