Germantown/Lehigh Early Head Start Will Hold Community Day and Health Information Fair on Aug. 15

  The Germantown/Lehigh Early Head Start Center will hold a Community Day and Health Information Fair on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center located at 2515 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia.
         Parents and guardians will be able to sign up their child for Early Head Start services and get information about health issues, community resources and service providers. There will also be giveaways and prizes, health screenings, fun activities for children and refreshments.

Early Head Start is a federally funded community-based program for low-income families with pregnant women, infants, and toddlers up to age 3. Its mission is simple:
·       to promote healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women,
·       to enhance the development of very young children, and
·       to promote healthy family functioning.
